Italy Trip 2021: It’s a love affair

Hello Hello there!

I thought that for this one I’d share with you guys a piece of my last trip to Italy.

There’s something you should all know okay, I am in love with Italy. Visiting Italy has become a part of me and my happiness. Lucky for me I’m dating an Italian 😉 I will never get tired of exploring that beautiful country and revisiting every single place I’ve been to already. Italy awakens this side of me that tends to be hidden away most of the time. The moment I step foot in Italy, I just come alive.

Yes, I might sound a little dramatic right now but I kid you not, this is exactly how it makes me feel. Isn’t incredible when you connect with a place so much you just feel like you were meant to live there? I just find Italy to be everything I’ve ever wanted.

Riccardo, my boyfriend, is always trying to get me to explore other parts of Europe and I’m just like but whyyyyy? Italy has everything I need. The most beautiful beaches, prosciutto, panoramic views, Rome, culture, the Amalfi Coast, history, beauty, pasta, architecture, gelato. Come on, I can go on forever. Okay jokes aside, I’m obviously very biased at this point but I’m just kidding (sort of) ALL of Europe is quite stunning and I cannot wait to explore it all.

So Riccardo and I began our trip on the East Coast of Italy crossing over though Tuscany where we visited Montalcino and Montepulciano and lastly but definitely not least, Florence. My favorite. Oh Florence stole my heart more than any other. I can’t pin point exactly what it is but I’m sure it’s a mixture of things.

After finishing this little crossover we went back to his family’s home over in Bologna. Once we were settled we also took a quick drive to Modena, which is just about an hour away from Bologna.

I would love to do more detailed posts on each city! Let me know if it’s something you would like to see. I have so much to share. For now, I hope you enjoy the few pictures I took. I need to work on my documenting but this is all I got for now.

You can also take a look the youtube video I made a while back from this trip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1p_qHA70vw4&feature=youtu.be🙂

Love always,

Angela
