Five things I am grateful for this year

Thanksgiving day is definitely my favorite holiday and the only one I make sure to celebrate! It is a day to reflect on the all the things you are grateful for, wether you celebrate it or not. Sometimes we get so caught up on all the negativity on our lives, we forget that we have so much more than we think. We are so lucky to be here and life has so much to offer. We just have to remind ourselves of it! And that is why I think Thanksgiving is a perfect day to acknowledge that.

When we begin to feel grattitude, we start to see a shift on the way we feel and how much more we can attract into our lives. I invite you to stop now and think about five things you are grateful to have in your life today. Maybe write them down or share them with a loved one.

Here I will share with you five things I am grateful for this year

1. Morning cuddles with Papito(my dog)

Papito has turned into my alarm clock for the past 10 months and I could not be more grateful. Having his warm body rubbing against mine, scratching my arm with his paw so I can pet him, it just sets my mood for the day! He is just the most adorable thing to me so seeing his sweet face licking mine, is so joyous! He usually does this between the hours of 6:15 am to 7:00, so it’s pretty convenient for me because out gets me out of bed at a perfect time.

2. The morning sunlight in our new apartment

If you didn’t know, I recently moved apartments to a space with so much sunlight. We had been living in another apartment with little to no sunlight and I truly didn’t realize how much it was affecting me. The mornings in our new home are my favorite part of the day. Seeing the sunshine coming in through the curtains, papito sunbathing till noon, I get to intake my daily dose of sunlight in my eyes. This has shifted my attitude towards how I begin my day and puts me in a better mood. I sometimes just sit with my coffee and take time in silence to give thanks with the warmth of the sun.

3. The women in my life

I am so grateful for all the wonderful women in my life who inspire me and motivate me everyday. I feel so unbelievably lucky to know I have strong women I get to call my best friends. They are the ones who I look up to, I can talk to about anything and the ones who give guidance to my life. I have only a few friends but they are so much more than I could ask for, my best girlfriends are all I need. I love them so much. I truly would not be able to get by without them!

4. To have found Dr.Berg on Youtube

If you have not heard of Dr.Berg, you need to go and subscribe to his channel immediately. He has videos on pretty much any subject on health and all things intermittent fasting. He is such a knowledgable doctor who I have learned so much from. I have taken much of his advice into my life and I have improved my health significantly. I have recently started taking supplements he has recommended and have also changed my eating habits. He made me realize all the mistakes I was doing as far as my health goes and I was able to correct it. I am so grateful for honest and daring people like himself! He speaks the truth on health and is changing lives helping people feel their best! Here’s his channel: https://youtube.com/@DrEricBergDC?si=qQJQEFAP04aPIckq

5. My Italian boyfriend who makes my life better

And last but definitely not least, my sweet boyfriend. I am so grateful for you! Life is so much better when you share it with someone you love by your side. He is always there to facilitate my struggles and he is such a great listener. He gives me love and keeps our little home safe. He is the one person who pushes me to be my best and to never give up on anything. Words will never describe my love for this man but all I can say is that there is no one else I want to spend my life with and I love him so much.

This concludes my top five things I am grateful for this year, even though there is a list of more than 100! I am grateful for you too for being here and I hope this inspires you to stop for a moment and give thanks. I wish you and your family a very happy Thanksgiving! Wether you celebrate it alone or with you loved ones, the act of gratitude is the most important thing about today.
