Let me just start by saying WHAT A BREATHTAKING day in Mexico City. I mean, look at the sunlight and I wasn’t sweating one bit. Mexico City has the most perfect weather. Anyway, stripes are huge this season, along with wrap arounds, sort of like a folder waist detail. I have to say, I’m totally loving this trend! The blouse I’m wearing in the pictures was absolute love at first sight. It features the classic blue and white stripes with my waist tied up, giving me a more aesthetically appealing figure. Along with it, I’m wearing girlfriend style jeans with a very relaxed fit and bootcut. Couldn’t leave behind my old friends, these suede cowboy style booties, which have been with me for a long time. I chose these shoes because I felt it gave my outfit a delicate contrast with the stripes, keeping a very daytime and casual look. These types of garments, like the striped blouse, are the type of wardrobe pieces that make a total statement and you don’t need much to have a sophisticated look. I intentionally named this blog post “Wall Street stripes” because that’s exactly what stripes remind me of. Imagine wearing this shirt with a pair of navy trousers and open toed heels to your office? I think it’s the perfect blouse to wear to work, or just a sexy day out. You can literally throw this shirt on anything and you’ll look effortlessly chic.

Tengo que empezar diciendo, QUE DIA TAN ESPECTACULAR en Ciudad de Mexico, solo vean ese solazo! Y no bote ni una gota de sudor. Les juro, Ciudad de Mexico tiene el clima mas perfecto. Las rayas se vienen con todo para esta temporada y detalles amarrados en la cintura también. Tengo que admitir que amo esta tendencia! La camisa que cargo puesta en las fotos fue amor a primera vista, sin duda. Tiene las rayas clásicas azules y blancas, mi cintura amarrada con una cinta, la cual estéticamente me favorece mucho! Quise combinar esta blusa, con unos girlfriend jeans de ajuste bien relajado. No pude dejar atrás, mis botitas de cowboy que llevan conmigo mucho tiempo. El color de las botas siento que le da un contraste bien suave a las rayas, manteniendo un look de día y casual. Este tipo de prendas, como la camisa de rayas, es el tipo de pieza que cambia tu look completamente a algo mucho mas sofisticado, sin tener que hacer mucho. Intencionalmente quise llamar este blog post “Wall Street Stripes” que quiere decir “Mundo financiero”, lo cual es exactamente a lo que me hacen recordar las rayas. Imagínate esta camisa con unos pantalones azul marinos y tacones abiertos? Perfecto para ir a la oficina o simplemente para un día soleado al aire libre. Puedes literalmente ponerte esta camisa con lo que sea y vas a lucir chic sin mucho esfuerzo.
