A few days ago, my friend Piero came to visit me, so we decided to tour around and explore the boundless culture Mexico has to offer.
We visited “El Castillo de Chapultepec” which means “Chapultepec’s Castle”. This is a very popular attraction in the city because of its history and the story behind this castle.
This castle, is the only royal castle in North America that was actually used as the residence of a sovereign: the Mexican Emperor Maximilian I, and his consort Empress Carlota, lived there during the Second Mexican Empire. (PS:I got this information from Wikipedia).
This is probably one of the most astonishing places I have visited in Mexico City. So many stories, the architecture, the vivid colors, EVERYTHING! You will truly adore this place and you will also get in a good workout! This is honestly one of the aspects of living in Mexico that I’ve come to love so much, you can walk everywhere! And you have everything in your favor. The weather, the atmosphere, the trees and the people! Believe me, it is a whole lot safer than most people like to say it is. Another perk of coming here, is that it’s very inexpensive! It doesn’t even cost $5 the entrance.

Hace un par de días, mi amigo Piero vino a visitarme en Mexico y decidimos explorar un poco esta hermosa ciudad.
Fuimos a visitar el famoso “Castillo de Chapultepec”, La cual es una atracción muy popular para visitar en la Ciudad de Mexico.
Este lugar es uno de los lugares mas asombrosos que he visitado. Las historias, la cultura, la arquitectura, los colores vividos, TODO! Estoy seguros de que van amar este lugar y aparte, van a poder hacer un buen ejercicio mientras tanto!
Unas de las cosas que mas me han enamorado de Mexico, es que puedas caminar a todas partes. El clima, el ambiente, los arboles y la gente estan a tu favor! Y creanme que es mas seguro de lo que la gente piensa.
Es el único Castillo Real en América, fue construido en la época del Virreinato como casa de verano para el virrey, se le dio diversos usos, desde almacén de pólvora hasta academia militar en 1841, también fue la residencia oficial del emperador Maximiliano I de México.
